A prime example of Savannah Ga architect. I took this photo on my way to City Market. About once a week I will park on Jones Street and walk different routes to City Market, taking photos of what catches my eye -

For some reason the thumbnail photo os this did not take, but it is the Pink House Reastaurant which is a great place to eat on Abercorn, close to Broughton Street. -

The craftmanship is simply amazing. The really amazing thing is that you see this type of architecture all over Savannah. -

It pays to take your time looking at the old building and have a camera that can zoom up close -- you can miss it all by hurrying through and glancing. Savannah is not a town to hurry through. -

This a shot of the rear of the condo construction called News Place which backs up to Ellis Square which is being re-constructed next to City Market. -

This is the contruction site where Ellis Square will be re-constructed and below is underground parking. The square will be filled with trees, bushes, flowers and benches like the other squares all throughout downtown Savannah.
