The Godley Station area along Pooler Parkway is booming. Businesses are going up everyday. These first few photos show the Wal-mart, the Home Depot and all the usual suspects when development takes off in a high demand area.

the homes at Godley Station, the Villages, run from the high 100s to the 400s. There are different ranges of prices in different sections and there are also apartment rentals and townhomes available.

One of the neat things about the Godley station area is the convenience to downtown and to the airport. It's about 15 minutes to downtown and about 10 minutes to the airport.

The Arbors is a great neighborhood within Godley station on the north end of the development, lots of new construction and close to shopping and restaurants.

The builders at Godley Station have been some of the best Savannah has to offer and they did a good job of conserving some of the trees, and the common areas are well landscaped.

I wouldn't call the subdivisions of Godley Station "cookie-cutter" although you will see recurring styles throughout -- there is actually a good diversity of styles. A little something for everyone's taste.

The lots in the Godley Station aren't huge, but the homes aren't stacked on one another either. It's the nature of new development, the lots are just not going to be as big.

There are also a good many one story homes. I know now that older clients are buying in Savannah and Pooler, many want single story to avoid steps -- they have many options among the single story homes in Godley Station and the surrounding developments.

The Godley Station area is also a very good family setting. The clubhouse offers a community pool and there is a new fun park close by in Pooler.

Whoops, I cut this off. These homes are in a cirlcle going along Godley Blvd and have somewhat bigger lots. They most have a low country style, a little bit different than most of Godley Station subdivisions surrounding them, and very close to the clubhouse and swimming pool.
