Investing in Savannah Ga real estate

Conventional wisdom was slow to see the investment possibilities after the crash in housing. You have to ask yourself if housing is ever coming back -- the answer is that it might take a long time for housing prices to rise like they have in the past, they will rise at some point. You can't expect to buy a home, then turn around and sell it for a profit, but if you are a serious investor with a long term mindset, then investment in rental properties in Savanah makes more sense now than ever.
Getting foreclosures at a low price, with rent prices being fairly strong, many investors are buying small single family homes and are doing well. As a buyer agent, I work with several out of town investors who own properties in Savannah. Buyer agency is good for investors, because it takes the hassle out of research, plus the buyer agent can also act as a property manager.
If you buy properties now at these prices, you'll get a good cash flow from the rental, and in 5 to 8 years, prices will start going up again. Investing in rentals is not for everyone, but in this market, it's a good time to invest in properties in Savannah. There are many homes all throughout Savannah and the surrounding areas which are at unbelievable prices, if you don't mind going through the hassle of dealing with foreclosures and short sales, but, again, using a buyer agent puts that hassle on the agent. Believe me, I know.
