Recently I've worked with a foreign investor and I've talked with several other potential foreign buyers as reas estate begins looking like a good investment for overseas buyers.

Savannah is a good area if you are going to invest. Savannah is situated to recover quickly when the national economy gets in gear. We have a diverse economy and the weather is pleasant for most of the year. We have a beach, an intesting downtown area that is good for walking, a healthy art scene, scenic waterfront views on the rivers, and beautiful woodlands and farm areas surrounding us. For Baby boomers retiring from the cold northeast or foreign buyers looking for a low cost growing area, Savannah, Ga is a good choice.

Recently Gulfstream announced they are hiring an additional 1000 employees, Mitsubishi is hiring at its new parts plant, plus, the soldiers at Hunter Air Field will be returning soon, so Savannah's economy is doing okay in this down time.
