Southside Savannah real estate sales statistics

Looking at sales of homes on the Southside of Savannah from 2007 until 2010, the average sales price per square foot has dropped from $109 a sq ft to $84 a sq ft. That's a 22% decrease in sales price per sq ft. The number of sales is much lower 2010 than in 2007 -- it appears that foresclosures and short sales have had a significant effect on prices.
