    Savannah real estate market

The real estate market is still slow here in Savannah but there are signs that interest is picking up if inquiries to my website are indicators. My website traffic has doubled since the first of the year, as have users filling out the home-search form. Most of them are saying they will buying in the spring and summer.

I'm hoping there will be gradual improvement in home sales starting in the spring. Hopefully the interest rates will still be good at that point. In the next couple of weeks, I'll start creating blog posts of new developments in and around Savannah, Ga.

I recently met with the two top guys at The Fairways, which is in Westbrook at Savannah Quarters. They are completing a website and when it's finished, I'll write a blog post with all the pertinent information. They showed me the condo models they have and they are top-notch, no-maintenance units with great floorplans -- perfect set-up for golf enthusiasts. Oh, and the prices are good right now as they try to get the development going.

I took a break at the end of 2008 and I'm now just getting back into the swing of things -- economic downturns do have some benefits :). I'll also start back with the video presentations of downtown Savannah, midtown Savannah and islands.
