Savannah ranked ahead of neighboring Charleston, mountainous Asheville and both Columbia and Greenville. Overall, we placed in advance of Charlottesville, Salt Lake City, Durham, Las Vegas, Seattle, Portland, Phoenix, New York City, Washington, Miami, San Francisco and, yes, Atlanta as a preferable place to do business. But this is an interesting rating for Savannah.

This is encouraging news -- it's about time Savannah got recognition for all we have to offer. In my book, it's number 1.
