Bull Street Chophouse -- Yowza!
Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at 06:46PM "Bull Street Chophouse Grand Opening!
The red carpet was rolled out on June 16 for the highly anticipated grand opening of Bull Street Chophouse at Bull and Broughton Streets. The American chophouse, which features prime steak, lobster, chops and bone-in meats, is the ambition of sister restaurant Il Pasticcio's owner Pino Venetico, who was in attendance to orchestrate the ribbon cutting at the start of the evening. Along with such culinary delights as a raw oyster bar, shrimp and grits and other appetizers, guests were met with champagne served from the restaurant's sleek bar. The event hosted many community leaders (including Mayor Otis Johnson and Chatham County Commission Chairman Pete Liakakis), who nibbled the night away in what is sure to emerge as one of Savannah's premier fine-dining establishments. "
This was the announcement from an email sent by South Magazine, the premier Savannah GA magazine. This place looks like my kind of place.
