Savannah ga real estate services: The industry is changing.

smart.jpgAll the hoopla, hassle and pressure is being trimmed from real estate services in favor of information and calculation. There are still companies and agents around who hard-sell and hype, but all this is quickly changing. The efficiency of the real estate consumer/service provider connection is the future, and here in Savannah, Ga, as all around the country, buyers and sellers are demanding no-pressure, no-spam, real estate service and it's being provided.

What many of us in the real estate industry have learned is that consumers are better prepared and when you make a call for service, you want service not a sale's pitch and pressure.

The efficiency of the process is really amazing. In my company I've been working for five years to make my online efforts informative and direct. Plus, the hands-on service is geared toward no-nonsense practice -- the real estate consumer has a need, I provide a service. There is a big difference between a professional service-provider and a sales-person.

In actuality I have nothing to sell but my services. The listing agents who still sell listings but don't provide information services are going to be around -- and if you are looking for a salesperson to sell you a particular home, you'll find one; however, if you are just starting the process and want a professional service provider to help with all the details from start to finish, you can find that, too.

The process of buying and selling real estate is more complex than an agent waiting on a call from a buyer then going into salesperson mode and selling the home. Consumers are now gathering information, doing research online and making smart, informed decisions -- we see the results of rash buying with all the foreclosures across the nation.

Buyers and sellers are smarter and more demanding, and they should be. You should know everything possible before jumping into a transaction. The new agent in the new transactions is developing a team of professionals to help assist consumers make well-researched decisions, from the inspections to the financing to the choice of areas that meet ALL the needs. Sellers are looking for good qualified buyers and they are paying attention to the condition of their homes and how it's priced in the market -- buyers are looking at the best home at the best price with the best financing and the best conditions.

In the coming years there will be more efficiency in the market -- the days of the overpriced home being sold quickly by high-pressure salespeople is over. Sellers will begin looking for service providers to market their home and manage the process rather than the super-salespeople. Buyers will be looking for service providers to help guide the process rather than run from salesperson to salesperson. And out-of-town buyers will have most of the work done on the internet before even looking for the right home.

Real estate agents have to react to your new needs and demands and be prepared -- just anyone with a license and the ability to sell won't do -- it'll take a professional approach from someone with truly specialized knowledge.

This process is better for everyone.
