Savannah Ga Real Estate Series: Godley Station

southbridge.godley 279.jpgThe Godley Station area in Pooler has grown tremendously in the 10 years. When I first got into real estate, there was nothing much at all along the Pooler Parkway, it was just the route the Savannah airport. Now there are subdivisions, restaurants, A Home Depot, A Sam's Club, shops, offices, grocery stores, hotels, just about anything you need.

The homes in the Godley Station area range from the high 100s to the 400s and it's basically all new construction (the majority). There are townhomes and apartments, too. On down Pooler Parkway going toward Savannah Quarters, there is even more development -- shopping strips and a new Loews, and 16West will be built soon, a huge shopping village across from Savannah Quarters.

Godley Station is convenient to I95 and it takes about 15 minutes to get downtown. There is an excellent golf course in the areas -- Crosswinds (this is where I play when I can find the time).

You can go to the sales office within the residential section to get all the future development plans, or if you are working with a buyer agent, you can get your agent to email you the information. The clubhouse has a pool and tennis courts. It's a pleasant neighborhood in a great location and the builders who are building there are top quality Savannah builders, along with some national builders like Horton Homes.
