Obama and Huckabee -- How Savannah Is A City of Contrasts
Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at 07:28AM
Politically, it's hard to find a greater contrast than between Barack Obama and Mike Huckabee; still, Savannah chose these two on Super Tuesday. I have written several times about Savannah's world of contrasts and this is just another example. We chose the extremes of each party. It's probably a good thing, though, if you like diversity. What a boring city it would be with 300,000 people in Savannah and the surrounding areas all thinking alike. Getting along while thinking differently -- nothing wrong with that.
