Still working on the Savannah video series

I've been distracted lately with other issues, but I've got some good stuff so far to put together. I've been doing a lot in Ardsley Park lately and I still believe it's one of the best neighborhoods in Savannah. there are some incredible new renovations that are absolutely beautiful.

For those of you unfamiliar with Ardsley Park, it's a centralized location in Savannah just minutes from downtown. As prices downtown still remain out of reach for the average home buyer, Ardsley Park is great second choice. Another alternative is the area between Victory Drive and Park Ave. There are still many old homes with Savannah character that are in need of cosmetics which would make great places to live as the area continues to undergo revitalization.

If you are reading this and you're interested in living close to downtown, or downtown proper, let me know when you'll be visiting and I'll be glad to give you a tour and explain the areas surrounding downtown.

There are many things to consider when living in the historic districts, like cost of renovation, parking, liklihood of appreciation, maintenance costs, market value, etc, and I will be glad to consult with you to clarify these issues.

However, if you want to make a safer choice with an established neighborhood, then Ardsley Park is a great choice. You still get the architectural character, although the homes aren't as old as downtown, and the neighborhood has a real community feel. You are still faced with concerns of maintenace costs, market value and such, but many of the homes have been sufficiently updated. It pays to look for homes in these areas with a buyer agent who can give you objective information and who knows something about the construction of these homes so that you can make a truly informed decision.

If you are coming down to house hunt, call me at  912-429-3431 .

I'll have the videos coming soon.
