Video Series of Downtown Savannah: Chippewa Square
Monday, October 27, 2008 at 02:47PM This is the first of a series of videos I'll present of downtown Savannah GA, showing different aspects fo the town, from homes to buildings to squares to River Street.
I am just beginning with video so these will improve as time goes on -- I'll be adding audio to the next. I didn't have the confidence to add my rough voice, but I'll give it shot when I do the next video on City Market. The landscape of City Market is changing quickly, now tht they've knocked down the parking garge that blocked it from view to the east.
This video is of Chippewa Square running along Bull Street in between Hull Street to the north and Perry to the south. Around the square are townhomes, a theater a church and a coffe shop. The squares in Savannah are unique because the add a constant green feel and they slow the traffic down making Savannah a great walking town.
