    Happy Holidays from Savannah Ga

xmas.jpgI will not be blogging until after the holiday season. I would like to wish everyone a happy holiday season. I am feeling positive about the real estate market in Savannah for 2008, in spite of the national real estate troubles.

The bottom line is that appreciation will slow and it will take builders a while to reduce the inventory of new homes. This means another good year for buyers. Loans will have tighter qualifying restrictions, but people with good credit and a downpayment will still be able to finance at historically low rates.

I believe government backed loans will become more flexible and that will enable first time buyers to continue to achieve homeownership.

I hope you and your families had a good year and 2008 is even better.

    For now,

    Mike from Savannah
